Hello and welcome to the never ending project that is Be Well Farmstead- We are a small little farm tucked in the Olympic Peninsula between Sequim and Port Angeles. We raise show quality Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats that participate in all of the performance programs of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) which includes showing, and DHIA milk testing, as well as Linear Appraisal we were appraised 2023 and 2024, looking forward to 2026! My first goal is always personality, we want our goats to be friendly and we want our buyers to enjoy them. In the past years we always tested for CAE, CL and Johnne's through blood testing and have always been negative. This year we will be testing for CAE only through blood, we will be doing group fecals for Johnne's. I am happy to spot test for CL anyone and have done it mid year for buyers. We have only had one abscess ever and we of course brought our vet in and cultured it as well as ran blood and those results were negative for CL. We have a great working relationship with our amazing livestock vet Dr. Melissa Board. She is a fantastic vet and does not treat our dairy girls like the minority. We are very grateful for that constant working relationship.

I closed down our silkie and black copper marans breeding plans and will revamp those in the future. This also means pasture raised poultry again soon! Our children raise market animals annually both kids will be doing pigs again this year. |
